Angela Goodwin
Angela leads the Potentialis planning team and is committed to making a difference and getting good development outcomes. Angela has just over 15 years experience in planning and is a certified independent commissioner.
Angela first started work at Transit New Zealand (now NZTA). From there, she went on to gain a Masters in Planning and a Post Graduate Diploma. Angela went on to work for a private consultancy and two local authorities. She then rejoined Central Government working as a policy analyst. Angela has also tutored at the University of Auckland in the planning department and worked as a property analyst.

Nicole Wallace
Nicole is an intermediate planner who has been working at Potentialis since June 2017; having obtained a Bachelor of Environmental Planning (BEP) majoring in society, politics, and the environment from the University of Waikato in November 2016. She is an intermediate member of the New Zealand Planning Institute (NZPI) and has over five years’ experience in the private sector.
Nicole has a background in preparing resource consent applications; particularly for residential redevelopments; infill, rural, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
Nicole is experienced in, and passionate about, maximizing the potential of a project and identifying and solving planning issues in a professional, practical, and friendly manner. She also loves undertaking planning and urban-design related research to assist clients and her colleagues with current and future projects.
Outside of work, Nicole is a keen photographer and has interests in fashion, make-up, music, and interior design. She also loves to read, garden, shop, and hang out with her friends, family, her cat Penny, and the family cat, Pebbles.

Carolyn Ma
Carolyn is an intermediate planner, having joined the Potentialis team in May 2021. Carolyn has experience working for a local authority. This has given her an excellent understanding of planning rules. She has processed numerous consents and has an excellent understanding of the resource consent process.

Melissa Stone
Melissa is our office administrator who specialises in all areas of administration and accounts. Melissa has 5 years experience as an administrator and many years experience as an accountant. She has worked for various businesses including a Sports club and Chartered Accountants prior to joining Potentialis Ltd in November 2020.
